We will welcome you at the airport on the first day of our 7-day desert tour from Agadir and take you to your accommodation. If you arrive early, you can take a walk around the city and explore on your own.
Today, the journey takes us to the red city of Morocco, Marrakech. We will have an exciting day as we walk through the alleys of the old Medina on an unforgettable guided tour.
Marrakech is one of the most visited places in Morocco and is home to many beautiful sites. We will start by visiting the Bahia and El Badi Palaces. After that, we will head to visit the Saadian tombs which date back to the time of the Saadian dynasty and in particular to the reign of Ahmad Al Mansur.
The Koutoubia mosque next to Jemaa El Fnna Square will be also a part of our visit. We will end the guided trip by taking you to Majorelle Garden which was made by a French artist who chose to live and work in Morocco. In the evening, you will have free time to walk by yourself.
We will travel to Boumalne Dades after breakfast. Along the way, you will be amazed by the majestic High Atlas Mountains and the views that they offer. We will make a stop at the altitude of 2260 m to admire the scenery.
We will continue our trip to the southeast, going through Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. This was once an important stop for camel caravans and traders. It was listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site in 1987.
The next stop will be at the Hollywood of Africa, Ouarzazate. There, we will take you to the Atlas Studios and the Kasbah of Taourirt for a panoramic view. Finally, we will get to Boumalne Dades and take you for a moment of relaxation at your accommodation.
On the fourth day of our 7-day tour from Agadir, we will travel to Merzouga Desert, the pearl of Southeast Morocco. But first, we will visit some exciting places along the way.
We will start with a visit to Todra Gorges with its beautiful cliffs that are about 300 meters high and are great places for rock climbers. Next, we will pass through the towns of Tinghir and Tinejdad.
Around sunset time, we will get to the Merzouga desert. The camels will be waiting for us near the dunes and our camel experts will make sure you ride safely. As you enjoy the ride across the golden sand dunes, you can request to make a stop along the way to enjoy the spectacular sunset. Overnight stay at a luxury desert camp with dinner and Berber music.
We will start the fifth day with a beautiful sunrise over the dunes next to our desert camp. We will leave the camp by camel or 4WD car to the village and then to Rissani. This city was the capital of Tafilalet and one of the main trading centers for years. Here, we will get into the busy souk, full of spices, fresh food from the area, and other products.
After that, we will go through Alnif and Nkob to get to Draa Valley which passes the Draa River, the longest in Morocco. Take a moment to enjoy the views and snap some pictures. The last stop of today will be in Ouarzazate, where we will spend the night. Relax and get ready for the adventure on the next day.
We will go back to Agadir on the 6th day of our Agadir trip. But first, we will visit some interesting areas along the way.
We will drive through the Anti-Atlas Mountains. The view will be very different this time as we drive through some black volcanic mountains. We will pass through many Berber villages and Kasbahs. After that, we will stop for a break in Taznakht. There are a lot of cooperatives in this city that make Moroccan carpets and rugs.
Next, we will keep going toward Taroudant, also known as the Little Marrakech, through the city of Taliouine. There, you will have some free time to walk around the city and admire the sites. At the end of our day, we will take you to Agadir, the last destination of the tour. We will drop you off at your accommodation.
