Today marks the first day of our 3-day desert tour from Agadir to Fes. Our journey starts from your hotel or any meeting point in Agadir. The first stop we will make will be the lovely city of Taroudant, often known as Little Marrakech. We will wander through its ancient walls and busy markets, learning about its history.
After that, we will drive through some beautiful Berber villages and get to Taliouine. This place is very famous for the production of saffron. The next destination will be the amazing Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. This UNESCO World Heritage site has been the set for so many movie scenes. Moreover, you will have free time to walk around and discover the area.
Finally, we will end our day in Ouarzazate by visiting the Atlas Studios and the Berber Kasbah of Taourirt.
The second day of our exciting trip is an adventure towards the desert of Merzouga. After a tasty breakfast at your accommodation, we will drive through the palm grove of Skoura and the Valley of Roses to get to the spectacular Todra Gorges.
Once we reach the gorges, you will have the chance to take a walk and enjoy towering cliffs. This place is amazing with its unique vibes. We will continue our journey to the desert across the Berber villages of Tinejdad and Tourorug. Once we get to our destination, the camels will be waiting for us next to the dunes. You will enjoy a camel ride to the camp and witness a wonderful sunset on the way.
At the luxury desert camp, you can have fun by trying the Sandboarding activity. As the night falls, you will enjoy a Berber drumming show played by locals.
Today we say goodbye to the Merzouga Desert and hit the road towards Fes. On our way, we will stop to enjoy the views of the stunning Ziz Valley and snap some memorable pictures.
As we drive to the north, we will travel through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains offering some stunning views. We will get to the Cedar forest and pay a visit to the Barbary macaques. These beautiful creatures are playful and friendly. Next, we will drive to Ifrane, also known as the little Swiss town of Morocco. The architecture and the shape of the houses look like the ones in Switzerland. Enjoy a lovely walk there and enjoy the vibes at your own pace.
