After spending an hour there, we will take the road through Meknes where you will have lunch.
Our tour takes us into the Atlas Mountains in the afternoon. There are many big cedar trees in these mountains. Some of them are over 600 years old! Take in the fresh mountain air and look out for the friendly Barbary macaques. Take pictures of them that you will always remember while you see them in their natural environment. We will finally get to Boulaajoul, where you will spend the night.

They still live in tents and make a living by taking care of camels, goats, and sheep. Moreover, we are going to have some time with them and find out how they live. After that, we will leave for Mifiss’s Kohl mine.
Khamlia is the next stop on our trip. It is a small town about 5 km from Merzouga. This is where you will learn about a different way of life. The people that live in this village are Gnaoua people: they are origin from Mali, Niger, Gabon, and other places in central Africa. They lived in Khamlia and learned Berber, but still, they kept their traditions.
A lot of other places will be shown to you. Looking down at Glb Nass, the Museum of Emirati 4×4, and the desert Oases are some examples.

Then, we will drive to Ait Benhaddou to see its famous and huge kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. Many well-known movies were shot there, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, and more.
Continuing our trip, we will go over the High Atlas mountains by taking Tizi N’tichka, Morocco’s highest road pass.
