We start our one-day trip with an early pick-up from your Fes hotel/riad. First, we will take you to see Meknes, a city with a rich history and interesting attractions. Among the attractions that you will visit are: the grand Bab Al-Mansour gate, the Sahrij Souani basin, and the royal stables where the king’s horses once resided. Furthermore, we will also take you to explore the massive granary of Heri Es Souani that used to store food and then visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, a famous Moroccan ruler. After all this exploring, you will have free time to walk around the Square of Lhdim and enjoy the street performers.
After having lunch in Meknes, we will hit the road to Volubilis, the Roman ruins. This UNESCO World Heritage Site will take you back in time. You will have free time to walk around the well-preserved ruins and their beautiful mosaics. Finally, we will drive back to Fes and drop you off at your accommodation.
