The 4-day tour from Ouarzazate starts with picking you up from your Accommodation or the airport. First, we will drive through the beautiful Oases of Skoura and the Valley of Roses. Here, we can make a quick stop by the valley for some pictures, and why not visit one of the cooperatives to learn how they extract the rose water?
Afterwards, we will cross the Valley of Tinghir and its thousands of palm trees. We make a stop for the panoramic view of the river and the palm groves. Then, we will go deeper into the High Atlas Mountains to visit the Todra Gorges. It is a stunning canyon that is around 300 m in depth. Take your time to wander around and do some hiking.
We move on to our next destination; Erfoud. A famous fossil city in the Southeast of Morocco. Here, we will visit one of the factories to learn about different types of fossils and the objects they make out of them.
Finally, after a short drive, we will arrive in the Merzouga desert. Get ready for an adventure that will take you back in time. You will ride camels and cross the sand dunes, then spend the night in Bedouin tents. Once you check in the camp, you can take the sandboard and climb the nearby dunes. It is the second day of our desert adventure! Get ready for a journey around the desert to discover the Local nomads, mines, Gnaoua people, and Oases.
First, wake up for the beautiful sunrise over the dunes. Then head back to the camp for breakfast. After that, you can ride camels back crossing the dunes or you can just take the 4×4 from the camp instead!
We will start our tour discovery tour with a visit to the nomads. These people still live the desert simple life under tents. You will learn more about their traditions and how they survive in the desert with our expert driver/guide. Then, we will drive through the black Sahara to explore the mines of Mascara in Mifis. Moreover, you will learn more about this mineral and the French factory where they used to extract it.
Next, we head to discover the village of Khamlia. Here, we will pay a visit to the Gnaoua people, listen to their music, and enjoy their spiritual dances. Moreover, we can have lunch in this village and you can try the Berber pizza for the first time.
Moving on, we will visit the Oases of Hassi Labied and learn more about the irrigation system. You can have a walk inside to see what people plant in the desert.
Finally, we will take you to the hotel., where you can relax by the swimming pool. Free evening in the desert. You can do some activities like ATVs or climbing the dunes to witness the sunset.

Then, we travel to a nearby city called Rissani. It used to be the capital of the province in the past, and the starting point of the current ruling dynasty in Morocco. Here, we will have a walk inside the city’s souk (market). It is considered one of the biggest traditional markets in all of Morocco and gets more crowded on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
After that, we are going to drive to Boumalne Dades. We will visit some interesting attractions like the monkey toes mountains, and beautiful rocky formations. In addition, we will drive through the Dades gorges and the curvy road of Tissdrine.
Finally, we will head to the hotel, check in and unwind.
Start your day with a tasty Moroccan breakfast surrounded by the beautiful views of Dades Valley. Then our trip takes us towards Marrakech, the red city. Before that, we are going to make some interesting stops on the way. The main one is going to be at the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. A Unesco World Heritage site that once used to be a trading stop for the camel caravans. Nowadays, it is a popular filming destination. You are going to have a walk inside the Kasbah to explore its mudbrick houses and learn more about its history. The fortress was featured in many movies and TV series like Gladiator, Games of Thrones, and Lawerence Of Arabia.
Afterward, we continue our journey towards Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains. We will be taking the Tichka Pass, one of the highest roads in Morocco. With that in mind, we are going to stop at the highest point of the road at an altitude of 2260m.
