The tour starts with the pickup service at your hotel in the morning. We will drive southeast to Skoura to see the Amridil Kasbah, which is considered among the most magnificent Kasbah in Morocco. After that, we will keep going to Rose Valley. In May each year, there is a Rose Festival where people from the area sell perfumes, rose water, and other cosmetics made from roses.
Next, we will go on to the Todra Gorges. A walk there is a must to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Moroccan canyons.
Merzouga desert is where we will get to in the afternoon for an experience of a lifetime. You will ride the camels across the dunes, stop to enjoy a spectacular sunset on the way, and get to the camp for a night of magic and relaxation. Enjoy a Berber music show at night under the starry sky.
We will start the second day of the 3-day tour from Ouarzazate to Marrakech with a breathtaking sunrise on top of the dunes next to the desert camp. After a tasty breakfast, It is time to travel towards Boumalne Dades.
The exploration will begin with a visit to the old town of Rissani, which is famous for its bustling market, especially on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. There, we will be able to see the active interchange of spices, dates, and other goods.
Moving on, we will go to Erfoud, the city of authentic fossils. We will visit one of the factories there to see the different types of fossils and the way they make them.
Next, the breathtaking landscape of the Dades Valley begins to reveal itself. Take your time to appreciate and enjoy the rock formations that are known as Monkey Fingers. We will end the day by taking you to relax at a local hotel/riad in Boumamlne Dades.
On the last day of the tour, we will head to Marrakech. Before that, we will visit Ouarzazate, also known as the Hollywood of Morocco due to its history as a film location. There, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the famous Kasbah of Taourirt, and visit the Atlas Studio. The latter was founded in 1983 and since then, it served as a filming location for so many movies and TV shows including, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, The Mummy, Game of Thrones, and more.
After that, we will continue our tour to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou. It is a charming fortified Kasbah and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Morocco. It was once a trading center as it played an important role in the caravan trade routes for centuries.
After lunch, will pass through the majestic High Atlas Mountains, stopping at some beautiful panoramic views along the Tizi N Tichka pass. As we get to Marrakech, we will take you to your chosen accommodation, and that marks the end of our 3-day desert tour from Ouarzazate.
