    Day 1: Arrival in Fes

    When you land at Fes airport, your driver will be there to take you to the riad to stay. Today is all about getting settled in for your Fes to Marrakech tour.     Day 2: Fes Local Guided Tour

    Wake up in Fes for a day full of exciting adventures! Since most attractions are in the old city of Fes, a local expert guide will take you through the city’s cool spots and old stuff. Today, you will learn all about Morocco’s first city, founded by Idriss I way back in the 9th century. We will divide the trip into two parts; one with the car and another walking with the guide.

    First, we will take the car and drive to see the Royal Palace’s main entrance. Here, you will learn more about Moroccan architecture. Furthermore, we will walk around the Mellah, Fes’s ancient Jewish quarter, and its busy markets. Then, we will drive again, this time to a panoramic view of the city. afterward, we head to the ceramic cooperatives where you can see the craftsmen making ceramic tiles, dishes, tables, and more.

    Second, you will start the other part of the trip, walking through the old city. You will see the old Al-Qarawiyyin University, which is the oldest university in the world, and the Chouara Tanneries, where they dye leather.     Day 3: Fes - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Merzouga - Camel Trekking - Camping

First stop, Ifrane, also known as the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’ for its charming architecture and beautiful views. Then, off to Azrou to explore the Cedar Forest, where you might spot Barbary apes playing among the trees.

    As you drive through the Atlas Mountains, the scenery changes dramatically. Passing Berber villages in Errachidia, you will reach the Ziz Valley, filled with palm trees marking the start of the Sahara Desert. Finally, you will end your day in Merzouga, where you will relax at the Riad and get ready for the desert adventure the next day.

    Day 4: Merzouga Desert Discovery Tour

    After having breakfast, We will take the car and drive to meet the local nomads who live in traditional Berber tents out in the Sahara desert. We can sit down with them, have some tea, and learn about their unique way of life. Next, we will visit and old mines of Kohl once used by the French, followed by a trip to Khamilia, a village known for its lively Gnaoua music.

    in the late afternoon, we will drive back to Merzouga village. Get ready for a camel ride adventure through the Erg Chebbi dunes. Along the way, you can stop for the beautiful sunset from the top of a dune before heading to the camp. Finally, we finish the day with a delicious Moroccan dinner, traditional Berber music, and some fun dancing under the stars.

    Day 5: Merzouga - Rissani - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges

    Today, we recommend waking up early for the sunrise over the dunes. Then after breakfast, we leave Merzouga and head to Rissani, an old trading city. We will have a walk around the city and its big traditional market. Furthermore, your journey continues to Todra Gorges, which are super high and narrow gorges in Morocco. Take a stroll by the calm Todra River and enjoy the lovely views. After that, you will travel to Boumalne Dades. Here, you will be amazed by the grand sand castles and peculiar rock shapes called ‘monkey toes.’ Finally, finish your day with a cozy night at a comfy hotel or riad in Dades Gorges.

    Day 6: Dades Gorges - Berber Nomads - Rose Valley - Amridil Kasbah - Ouarzazate

    After a night in Dades Gorges, you will head towards Ouarzazate through the route of Thousand Kasbahs. Your day starts with a visit to the Berber nomads living in caves. Afterward, we will head to Kalaat M’Gouna, also known as the Roses Valley. Here, you can check out rose products like soaps and creams made locally, perfect for cool souvenirs. Then, you will go to the amazing Kasbah Amridil in Skoura. It’s a really old fortress that’s been kept in great shape, and you will be amazed by its cool design and interesting history.

    Finally, we will make our way to Ouarzazate, reaching there by late afternoon. Depending on the time, you could visit one of the Atlas Studios and the Kasbah of Taourirt before we take you to the riad/hotel to relax.

    Day 7: Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Tizi Ntichka - Marrakech

    After breakfast, you will leave Ouarzazate heading to the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and a filming hub in the area. It was once a trading point for the camel caravans that used to travel from the Subsaharan African countries to the Moroccan coastal cities. You will have free time to wander around, explore, and learn about its interesting architecture and history.

    On your way to Marrakech, you will go through the highest pass in Morocco, Tizi N’Tichka, which is 2260 meters high. The views of the Atlas Mountains and small Berber villages are amazing! We will stop to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

    Once you reach Marrakech, we will check in your accommodation. Finally, you will have a free evening to walk around Jamaa El Fna square.

    Day 8: Marrakech Local Guided Tour
