We will leave Marrakech at 8 am and start the 2-day tour from Marrakech to Essaouira. During our drive to the Atlantic coast, we will pass through a place called Chichaoua. This place is well known for the growth of Argan trees. Here, pay attention as you might see the goats climbing the Argan trees.
Firstly, we will stop at an argan oil cooperative to see the process of making this golden liquid. We will see how it is made using old techniques and learn why it is so valuable to people here and worldwide (Optional stop).
After that, once we reach Essaouira, you will be surprised by the charm and beauty of this city. After having lunch, you will have plenty of time to wander around the old Medina. This place reflects a mix of Portuguese, French, and Berber influences, which makes it interesting. You can also look for wooden crafts and enjoy the atmosphere at your own pace.
After a great night in Essaouira, we will start our second day with a delicious breakfast at the riad. Next, you will have a free morning to relax at the beach, walk around other parts of Essaouira, and enjoy the charm of the city. Finally, around late afternoon, we will take you back to the red city of Marrakech marking the end of our 2-day tour to Essaouira.
