We will begin our 4-day tour from Tetouan to Marrakech by picking you up at your hotel. We will head directly to Chefchaouen, the blue gem of Morocco located in the Rif Mountains. You will have free time to explore at you own pace. The square of Wetat Lehmam, the Kasbah, and the Spanish mosque are the most interesting sites to visit there.
Today, we will leave for the desert. Along the way, we’ll visit Ifrane, also known as Morocco’s Switzerland, and the Azrou cedar forest, where we will stop to feed the monkeys and take some pictures.
We will keep going to Midelt and have lunch there. After this break, we’ll head to the Ziz Valley for a beautiful panoramic view.
As we reach the Sahara Desert, the camels will be waiting for us for a lovely trip across the sand dunes. You can watch a beautiful sunset on top of the dunes before we get to the desert camp. Berber music and the starry sky are not to be missed!
We start the day by getting up early to see the beautiful sunrise over the dunes next to the camp. After that, you’ll take a peaceful camel ride or the car back to the starting point of Yesterday.
We will hit the road to Rissani which was once the capital city of Tafilalet region. There, we will walk around and wander around its souk.
Todra Gorges is the next stop of our trip. You can have a walk there and admire the beautiful cliffs. We will end the day by taking you to your hotel in Boumalne Dades to relax and get ready for the next day.
On the last day of the tour, we will visit the Kasbah of Amredil in Skoura. Next, we will go to Ouarzazate to see the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Studios. Afterward, we will move to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. This Kasbah is the most well-known in Morocco.
The trip then continues to the red city of Marrakech across the High Atlas Mountains. These geological formations offer great views for photography lovers. As we reach Marrakech, we drop you off at your accommodation putting an end to our 4-day desert tour from Tetouan to Marrakech.
