We will take you on an unforgettable journey to visit the Berber nomads, the Gnaoua people in Khamlia, the mines of Mascara in Mfis, and the Oasis of Hassi Labied.
On day three, we will say goodbye to the desert as we make our way towards Fes. Before we get there, we will enjoy a panoramic view of Ziz Valley, stop at the cedar forest of Azrou, and have a walk in the charming town of Ifrane.

The first day of the 3-day desert tour from Ouarzazate to Fes starts with the pick-up service at your accommodation. We will visit the Atlas Studios, which are where many great movies were filmed. After that, we will stop for a panoramic view of Taourirt Kasbah.
Next, we will make our way to Todra Gorges, which is a huge canyon that has been carved out by the Todra River through the High Atlas Mountains. You will have free time to walk around and take in the beautiful scenery.
In the afternoon, we will arrive in Merzouga, one of the most visited places in Morocco. We will have the chance to experience an exciting camel ride over the dunes. On top of a high dune, you will be able to take a break and enjoy a breathtaking sunset. The final stop will be at the desert camp for a memorable night under the starry sky.
Today, you can get up early to see the beautiful sunrise next to your camp. After having breakfast, you can take the camels back to the village or start the desert tour directly from the camp.
We will start the desert discovery by taking you to Hassi Labied Oasis. You can take a walk there and see the different plants of the desert. After that, we will head to visit a Berber nomad family. You will learn about their lifestyle and how they survive in such hard conditions.
Next, we will head to Mines of Mfis. The French exploited them during their colonization of Morocco. They extracted some minerals there including galena, pyrite, barite, and others. You will have some free time to hike up the factory and enjoy a panoramic view of the desert.
The last stop on today’s trip is the Khamlia village, where you can enjoy Gnaoua music. These people are originally from the Sub-Saharan countries and they settled in Khamlia to show the world their unique culture.
The day starts with an amazing sunrise on top of the dunes. After taking a shower and having breakfast at the camp, we will take you to the starting point of the previous day by camel or car.
The first stop we will make today will be at the city of Rissani, an exciting city with a traditional busy market in souk days (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays). Next, we will travel through Erfoud and admire the panoramic views that Ziz Valley offers.
After going through Errachidia, our journey continues along the edge of the Cedar Forest of Azrou. There, we will get to see the Barbary monkeys and take some nice pictures. Furthermore, we will make a stop in the city of Ifrane, so you can have a walk and visit the Atlas Lion statue.
