    Take our 6-day desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech. These 6 days and 5 nights will allow you to visit the most beautiful sites in Morocco.

    We will cross the Rif Mountains, and take a walk around the blue city of Chefchaouen. Fes Sightseeing tour will be an important part also, along with the trip to the Switzerland of Morocco, Ifrane, and the Cedar Forest.

    In Merzouga Desert, you will ride the camels and watch the beautiful sunrise and sunset. You will have the chance to walk through Rissani’s souk and the beautiful Todra gorges.

    As we get to the last days of the tour, you will learn about the history of the Kasbahs and enjoy the panoramic views in Tizi N Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains.

    • Walk around the cute town of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. It's famous for houses and streets painted in a pretty blue color!
    • Take a guided tour through Fes, one of Morocco's oldest cities. You'll see the King's Palace, cool leather works (called Chouara tanneries), and the oldest university in the world (called Al-Qarawiyyin).
    • Take a camel ride across the sandy hills (dunes) of the Merzouga Desert. Also, watch a beautiful sunset and stay overnight in a fancy desert camp!
    • Take in the sights of the Ziz Valley and explore the Todra Gorges, a great place for rock climbing and taking pictures.
    • See beautiful fields of roses blooming in Kelaat Megouna, the city of roses.
    • Explore Ait Benhaddou, a historic castle that's been in movies and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll have time to walk around and see the old buildings.

    The Ideal 6-Day Tour Itinerary from Tangier

    Day 1: Arrival in Tangier

    On the first day of our amazing 6-day desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech, we will pick you up at the port/ airport of Tangier and take you to your accommodation.

    Day 2: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes

    After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to the exciting city of Fes. On our way there, we will make a stop to visit the blue pearl of Morocco, Chefchaouen, located in the Rif Mountains. You will have some free time to explore the city and admire the blue-painted houses and streets. After the visit, we will make our way to Fes for the overnight.

    Day 3: Fes Guided Tour

    Today, you will have a guided tour of Fes, Morocco’s oldest city, and see what it has to offer. When we first get to the old Medina with a local guide, we will visit the Royal Palace with its 7 gates and the Jewish quarter.

    We will also tour Chouara, the city’s famous tanneries, and then move to see Bounania Madrassa and the University Of Al Quaraouiyine.

    For a stunning panoramic view of the whole city, we will move to Borj Nord. Free time in the evening to walk around the narrow alleys of the old Medina.

    Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Merzouga Desert

    We leave the hotel in the morning and head to the city of Ifrane. As we get there, you can take a walk and visit the Atlas Lion Statue. Then we’ll go to Azrou to see the monkeys in the cedar forest. After that, we’ll keep going across the Atlas Mountains to get to Midelt and have lunch.

    By afternoon, we will cross the Tizi N Telghemt pass, which is 1907 meters high, on our way to Errachidia. On our way, we will make a stop to enjoy the views of Ziz Valley, which offers great photo opportunities.

    We keep driving to Merzouga through Aoufous and Erfoud along the way. When we get there, you will ride the camels across the dunes for an hour and a half to watch the sunset and spend the night at a luxury desert camp.

    Day 5: Merzouga - Todgha Gorges - Boumalne Dades

    If you get up early enough, you can enjoy a spectacular sunrise on top of the sand dunes next to the desert camp. As you ride the camels or take the car back to the village across the dunes, you can enjoy the unique beauty of the Erg Chebbi desert with the first lights of the morning.

    Our first stop will be in Rissani, the capital city of the Tafilalet region. There, we will visit the busy market where a lot of people from the neighboring regions come to buy goods.

    Next, we will leave for Todra Gorges, which is famous for being a great place for rock climbers and photography enthusiasts. You will have free time to walk there and admire the place. Afterward, we will move to Boumalne Dades to spend the night.

    Day 6: Boumalne Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

    After breakfast, we leave Boumalne Dades and drive to the Valley of the Roses, which blooms in April. Along the way, we will go through the palm trees of Skoura, where the architecture of Amredil Kasbah can be seen spread out among the palms.

    Next, we stop in Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and the famous Atlas Studios. After that, we will move to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the south’s most popular tourist place. You will have free time to take a walk and observe the amazing architecture of the Kasbah.

    At the end of the day, we drive to Marrakech across the High Atlas mountains and drop you off at your chosen hotel/riad. This puts an end to our amazing 6-day desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech.
